The purpose of the interaction papers is to show your understanding of the issues that cause conflict and the methods/resources currently being used to resolve those conflicts in specific contests. Your papers should be comprehensive in their scope but brief in their presentation. In other words, they should cover the major issues of conflict and overview the methods and pitfalls of resolution. Interaction papers should be 7-8 pages in length, double-spaced, and formatted using MLA style (you must request permission to use a different writing style). Please do not exceed 10 pages for your paper. Content for each Interaction Paper should come from at least 6-8 articles from professional journals in sociology, religion, psychology, business, communication, or the Helmick & Petersen text. You should also include 5-6 references from books. If you find relevant articles in magazines and on the internet, you may use them as additional sources. For this Interaction Paper, you will choose a topic from the list below and write a 7­-8-page paper based on methods of conflict resolution.

You will be required to show your understanding of issues that cause conflict and the methods/resources being used today towards specific resolution. Special permission to choose and write on a topic not included on the list may be secured from the instructor. Area 1 topics are about conflict and are theoretical in nature. Clearly define your purpose and clarify a specific question to answer. Your purpose should be general in nature and serve to prompt a more specific question that you will attempt to answer. For example, using the “Hillary Clinton as Peace Maker” topic, the purpose might be to explore how world leaders act as intermediaries to achieve diplomacy. The specific question could be, “How has Hillary Clinton made attempts to maintain peace between the U.S. North Korea and Iran? Specify a method for how you will accomplish your purpose and answer your question. This step is a preview of your research, and you will briefly indicate the tools you used to conduct your study. Demonstrate your research. In this section, you will provide the details of your research process. Your input here should comprise the majority of your content. Draw some conclusions you reached. Summarize the results of your research. Give recommendations for further study. Examples of IP conflict between man and God and man and man in Scripture. The importance and significance of “forgiveness” in resolving conflict.

Marketing conditions differ in different markets and they vary greatly. The markets conditions include pattern of the pricing, distribution of the products and the demand of the products in the market. Each country has a unique market and the markets should understand it completely. The employees should take into consideration all these factors before starting the promotion activities. Each country has a different monetary system of its own. The value of money in each country varies greatly so the exchange rate also differs from country to country. The transactions rate also varies in different country when we compare it in international market. This assignment list the marketing principles of the company selected. The managers at the marketing department invent a way in which the marketing mix of the company can be handled. Your paper will be stronger if you use your evidence throughout the paper. Some students have been taught to back up their assertions with quotes. However, this creates a bad habit of using a quote from someone else to make your point, rather than stating that point yourself. Often I find that students don’t understand what they are quoting and would do better to use a paraphrase. My rules for quotations are that you need to both explain the quote in your own words and then tell how that quote backs up your argument. Frequently, it is easier just to paraphrase the author in your own words and then say how that backs up your ideas. 1. Do you keep the quote inside your sentence? Correct: Reading is vital to becoming a good writer. Incorrect: “We are all readers before we are writers.” Sarah McKean’s quote tells us reading is important to becoming a writer. 2. Do you make sure that you explain how that quote backs up your argument?

3. Do you need to quote? Can you put the information in your own words as effectively or more effectively? Remember quotes are best used only if a person is an authority on the subject, the way the quote is worded is important, or if you are going to talk about specific parts of that quote later in your argument. If you are using information from something you have read, heard, or watched, you need to cite that source. A useful method for deciding whether you need to use a citation is to ask: “Would a normal person know that information without looking it up?” If not, you need to tell your source. Two common ways for citing are to tell the author and title of the text or do a parenthetical reference (MLA style) or footnote (APA style). Additionally, as you write your paper, you should use “author tags” whenever the facts you are writing about came from your source. Find out where you need to put author tags by reading the paper and marking where you are referring to the ideas in the article you read (highlight one color), and your ideas (highlight in a different color). Make sure that every time you are referring to the author’s ideas you have used an author tag, or referred in some way to where you got the ideas.
