The 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe
The Santa Fe is one of Hyundai’s longest-serving nameplates. The crossover sport utility vehicles have been designed to suit the driver who wants an elevated height ride and a significantly large cargo area all in an easy-to-drive package. Over the years, the previous Santa Fe SUV cars have undergone drastic revolution with the modern models coming in midsize shapes and well sculptured cabin compounded by hi-tec user-friendly features. Design Features (Interior and Exterior)
Despite the fact that the Hyundai Santa Fe has been in existence in the SUV market for quite some time now, its cabin stands out among all other three-row crossover class SUVs. Its interior has been well designed and accentuated with some of the most sophisticated infotainmet systems. The 8-inch touchscreen menu and function is about intuitive as it gets. A Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity feature, the Hyundai’s Blue Link system as well as a six speaker stereo system complete with a CD player and satellite radio complement the elegant design in the car’s interior. One of the most spectacular features of the car is the powered hands-free automatic tailgate feature. This has earned the car much recognition globally having incorported the best technological features. A keyless entry and ignition system is yet another feature in the car mking it highly rated among other SUVs in its class. A blind spot monitoring feature with rear-cross traffic alerts, a dual zone automatic climate control feature as well as an auto-dimming rear veiw mirror complement the well sculptured interior. The engine runs on a six-speed automatic transmission system which is standard in all the Santa Fe models. The 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe model however comes in a front wheel or an all wheel drive configuration option giving more options for those who want to have the ultimte performance. The vehicle’s fuel economy is estimated to be about 21mpg combined (18 city/ 25 highway) for the front wheel drive option and 20 mpg combined (18 city and 24 highway) in the all wheel drive option.
Prices and Release Dates
The exact dates for the SUV debut is not yet known. However it is speculated that the car may be made available for public veiwing in the third or fourth quarter of 2015. The vehicles are exected to retail at about $30,400.
