After the Biology 100 lectures, videos, and readings, I know your awareness of the significance and role of biology in our daily lives is remarkable. We also know that biology does not exist in a vacuum and functions for and within the previews of economy, society, ethics, and politics. For this final essay you are to write between two and three pages. It must be typed, using Arial font 11, 1 inch margins, and double spaced. I am requiring three legitimate sources of information cited in MLA format. The essay must be informative and express invested thought and opinion. You may supplement your essay with other readings, just cite your sources. I will grade your essay based on the parameters of the assignment. Do not plagiarize! As humans on Planet Earth, we can begin to view Biology as providing solutions for areas of concern that biological research and technology hope to solve. Agriculture: in terms of feeding a rapidly growing human population with the same water and soil resources,2. Conservation: environmental collapse of varying degrees in global ecosystems,3. Medicine and health: in terms of a global population, and inequities of income and access,4. Identify a biological problem that falls under agriculture, conservation, medicine and health, or education.2. Define the scope of your problem in terms of who or what it affects and what you think are the future economic, social, ethical, and political implications.3. Offer a legitimate solution that the biological sciences can provide your problem. 4.
