Personal perspective
Acts of resistance are an important part of the society as they influence the society’s perspective on various aspects that might have been ignored in the past. In the case of El Paso, the author is placing emphasis on the death of young innocent women and pointing out how the acts of resistance, which came in the form of two coalitions, helped to raise awareness about these women’s plight.
