Assignment 3: Sage 50 ProjectDue Week 10 and worth 200 points
The Sage 50 Project is based on the completion of Project 1 – Sherry Pierce, Accounting  (located at the end of Chapter 11) and Project 4a – Student-Designed (located at the end of Chapter 18) assignments.
Convert a manual accounting system to Sage 50
Record a series of accounting transactions
Generate a series of reports
Complete period-end accounting activities (adjusting entries)
Analyze the firm via a series of questions (see the Check Your Progress: Project 1 section of the project)Turn in six (6) documents for this project:For Project 1
Document 1: An Excel workbook that contains all fourteen (14) of the required reports generated per this assignment (see the Checklist of Printouts: Project 1 section of the project).
Document 2: The answers to Check Your Progress questions posed by the project. Create an Excel document that includes each question and the answer to each question.For Project 4a
Document 3: An Excel workbook that lists all of the transactions that you recorded in Peachtree for the following month, presented in a professional and readable format. Prepare a minimum of 30 (30) transactions.
Document 4: An Excel workbook that contains a listing of all of the required reports (14) generated per this assignment (see the Checklist of Printouts: Project 1 section of the project) for the next reporting period.
Document 5: Using the questions from the Check Your Progresssection of Project 1, answer each question based on the results of your new transactions. Create an Excel document that includes each question and the answer to each question.
Document 6: A six to eight (6-8) page Word document (excluding cover page and references) that explains the primary ways accountants (a) use Excel to help perform the job task and to provide information to management used in the decision-making process; (b) can help management understand the meaning of the accounting transactions; and (c) use Peachtree to analyze business events.The specific course learning outcomes associated with this assignment are:
